if you’re losing weight at a rapid pace and you’re not moisturizing the heck out of your entire body you’re a fool. obviously exercise is key to avoiding loose skin (strength training is so important - you won’t bulk up if you’re eating on a deficit, just tone, i promise!) but moisturizing can go a long way too. i’m still too wide to be able to reach some parts of my back and shoulders (can’t wait till that’s not true!) so i take a nightly bath and add a tbsp of coconut oil to the tub. great for moisturizing and for soothing my sore muscles from exercising. when i get out of the bath, i lotion up everywhere i can reach. i’ve lost 27 pounds in 5 and a half weeks and i don’t have a bit of loose skin because of exercising and moisturizing and i’m hoping that stays true as i continue to lose weight (obviously i’ll let y’all know as i progress).
